Anti-Herpes is a product containing L-lysine – an amino acid essential for cats, which fulfills a number of important functions in their body. L-lysine, directly or as a component of many biologically active compounds, affects:

• construction skeleton ,
• nervous system ,
• circulatory system ,
• processes trying cells,
• immune system .

Increased lysine concentration disrupts the process of herpesvirus replication, may reduce the severity of infection symptoms and limit the shedding of the FHV-1 virus.

Due to the fact that L-lysine is involved in so many processes occurring in the cat's body, its deficiency may manifest itself in the form of:

• anemia ,
• hair loss,
• weakening of immunity.

The consequences of L-lysine deficiency in the diet may include, among others, muscle atrophy or disruption of protein biosynthesis.
